Coffee & Chocolate Tour

Ready for a delicious adventure? Join us to explore some of Costa Rica's most famous agricultural products on a tour you'll enjoy with all your senses.

First up is a chocolate tour, where you'll learn about the history of cacao and how chocolate is made, from the cacao tree to the finished product. You'll have the opportunity to sample some of the world's best chocolates and even create your own delicious treats.

Next up is the coffee tour, where you will discover the secrets of Costa Rica’s world-renowned coffee industry. You'll visit a coffee plantation, learn about the cultivation and harvesting process, and taste some of the freshest and most flavorful coffee you’ve ever had.

Finally, the experience concludes with a sugar cane tour, where you'll witness the traditional process of turning sugar cane into ]uice, and even have the chance to try it for yourself. You’ll learn about the importance of this crop in Costa Rican culture and history, and leave with a newfound appreciation for this sweet and versatile plant.

Throughout the tour you will be surrounded by the stunning natural beauty that La Fortuna area offers. If you are lucky, you may even see the Arenal Volcano in the background. You will also have the opportunity to interact with the locals and learn about their way of life.

• - 13% sales tax will be added upon booking
• - Minimum number of participants: 2 adults
• - Child rate ($32) is for children 6-12 years old, children 0-5 years old are allowed free of charge, child seats are available free of charge (subject to availability).
• - Children must be accompanied by an adult.
• - The tour is bilingual in English and Spanish
• - Transportation from most hotels is included in the price. If your hotel is far from downtown La Fortuna or the road to the Arenal Volcano, additional pick-up costs may apply. Please inquire at the time of booking.
• - The departure times are approximate and we will send you the exact pickup time.

Policies:

• - Cancellations or changes to the booking are possible until 24 hours before departure. After that, the full booking price will be charged in any case.
• - If a participant does not appear at the agreed time at the agreed place, we can wait a maximum of 5 minutes. In case of non-appearance, the full booking price will be charged.
