What to Expect on a Venado Caves Tour

The Venado Caves tour is led by experienced guides who will provide you with all the necessary equipment and safety gear. 
As you enter the caves, you'll be immediately struck by the darkness and the eerie silence. The guides will provide you with headlamps, which will illuminate the path ahead.

The highlight of the tour is undoubtedly the "Cathedral", a massive chamber that is over 160 feet high. The chamber is home to a stunning waterfall that cascades down from the ceiling, creating a magical and awe-inspiring atmosphere.

Get ready for a unique experience and to get wet and dirty as you explore this incredible underground world! At the end of the tour, a delicious seasonal fruit snack awaits you for refreshment before we start our return journey.

• - Due to the uneven terrain, this tour is not suitable for guests with walking disabilities or other motor impairments.

• - Transportation from most hotels is included in the price. If your hotel is far from downtown La Fortuna or the road to the Arenal Volcano, additional pick-up costs may apply. Please inquire at the time of booking.
• - The departure times are approximate and we will send you the exact pickup time.

• - Cancellations or changes to the booking are possible until 24 hours before departure. After that, the full booking price will be charged in any case.
• - If a participant does not appear at the agreed time at the agreed place, we can wait a maximum of 5 minutes. In case of non-appearance, the full booking price will be charged.
