Arenal Volcano National Park by Arenal Lake

There is probably no bigger attraction in the north of Costa Rica than the Arenal Volcano. With us you have the opportunity to admire the impressive giant on a picturesque tour from all angles. We combine the impressions of a boat trip with a walk through the rainforest of the Arenal National Park.

The tour starts with the pick-up at your hotel. We then take you to the Peninsula Section of the National Park where we begin an approximately 1 mile hike through the rainforest in search of forest creatures. Our guide has a lot of knowledge about the flora and fauna of the tropical rainforest. In between we catch a glimpse of Lake Arenal.

After our guide has provided us with a lot of interesting information about the volcano and Lake Arenal, we enjoy a snack with fresh fruits before it's time to say, "ship ahoy"! With the boat we sail along the forested shores of Lake Arenal towards the volcano and enjoy the view. This is the ideal place to take photos of the volcano on a clear day. We also keep an eye out for animals such as water birds or small crocodiles that live in the lake. After about 45 minutes, the boat docks in the area of the Arenal reservoir and we start our way back.

If desired, this tour can be combined with a visit to hot springs for an additional fee. There are several locations to choose from where you can enjoy hours of relaxation. The transfer back to the hotel is included.

• - Child rate ($53) is for children 5-11 years old, children 0-4 years old are allowed free of charge, child seats are available free of charge (subject to availability).
• - Children must be accompanied by an adult.
• - The tour is bilingual in English and Spanish
• - Transportation from most hotels is included in the price. If your hotel is far from downtown La Fortuna or the road to the Arenal Volcano, additional pick-up costs may apply. Please inquire at the time of booking.
• - The departure times are approximate and we will send you the exact pickup time.

Policies:

• - Cancellations or changes to the booking are possible until 24 hours before departure. After that, the full booking price will be charged in any case.
• - If a participant does not appear at the agreed time at the agreed place, we can wait a maximum of 5 minutes. In case of non-appearance, the full booking price will be charged.
