Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve hike

The Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve in Costa Rica is known worldwide for its breathtaking biodiversity and the mystical atmosphere created by the dense fog. Its geographical, topographical and climatic conditions favor an enormous variety of flora and fauna. Visitors can observe over 400 bird species, including the rare quetzal, as well as countless species of mammals, reptiles and amphibians. The variety of epiphytic plants, such as bromeliads, orchids and mosses, is also impressive.

A guided hike through the reserve is the best way to discover the secrets of the cloud forest. An experienced guide will not only provide you with valuable information about the natural history, but will also show you hidden treasures that you would hardly discover on your own.

The tour takes place in the mornings and afternoons in small groups of a maximum of nine people and also includes pick-up from your hotel. You will hike around 1.5 miles.

• - You shall be at the agreed time and place and we will wait a maximum of 5 minutes. In case of no show, the reservation will be charged to 100%.
